Spirits producer AS Liviko has rolled out Vana Tallinn Spritz, a new ready-to-drink beverage based on the Vana Tallinn liqueur.

The new spirit is a carbonated, lemon-flavoured, light alcoholic beverage, balanced with hints of the Vana Tallinn flavour.

Suitable for vegans, it comes in a bottle of 275ml at 5.5% ABV, and is both lactose and gluten-free.

Vana Tallinn Spritz is available in Estonia from May and will also roll out in the rest of the Baltics, Russia, Ukraine, Finland and the rest of Scandinavia, as well as travel retail.

Liviko CEO Janek Kalvi said: “Vana Tallinn Spritz has great export potential, since Vana Tallinn itself is one of Estonia’s best- known trademarks and most popular Estonian liqueur around the world.

“Spritz was inspired by Vana Tallinn’s highly popular showcase cocktail of the same name,” explained Liviko’s beverage architect Hanna Kaur. “In it we’ve combined the classic flavour of Vana Tallinn with the zing of citrus fruit, which in this case comes from natural lemon juice. The result is a fresh and completely new taste experience.”
