From 18 August, SIA Liviko will be led by new managing director Genady Klepikov, with whom AS Liviko's CEO Janek Kalvi signed a contract in 17 August.
"Three years of work have laid a good foundation for SIA Liviko, but we have to go on and focus on the challenges on a new level. The organisation now needs a new type of a strong leader, who would take SIA Liviko to the next stage. SIA Liviko has by now become a sales and marketing organisation with a clear structure; one of the keys to its further success is greater internationalisation and professional sales and marketing activities. Genady has been through all the changes with the organisation and proved himself as a highly estimated professional who is capable of initiative, enterprising and solution oriented. I asked Genday to lead SIA Liviko in the firm conviction that his leadership will also have the tangible support of the staff," explained AS Liviko's CEO Janek Kalvi.
Genady Klepikov was born on 3 June 1975. He has a good academic education in business management and versatile experience in international business. He has been the marketing director of SIA Liviko since 2006.
Janek Kalvi thanked Urmas Silman, former managing director of SIA Liviko, for his work, as Silman's contract ended and he will leave his position as of today. "‘During the three-year development period and complex merger processes Urmas was a good leader and highly estimated by the staff of SIA Liviko. On behalf of Liviko I would like to thank Urmas for the contribution he made to the company's development, which has now taken SIA Liviko to the threshold of a new stage," said Kalvi.
"‘It will soon be three years from the establishment of the Liviko Group through the acquisition of Latvian and Lithuanian alcohol companies. We value transparency of the organisation, ambitious development, modernity, and dedication to customers. We focus on quality products; successful work with the trademarks trusted to us has shaped Liviko Group into one of the most developed and successful organisations on the Baltic alcohol market. The work will continue thanks to our professional and dedicated people," added Kalvi.
Liviko Group consists of the Estonian parent company AS Liviko, the Latvian subsidiary SIA Liviko, the Lithuanian subsidiary Liviko and the Japanese subsidiary Hanza Trading Co
